We have a number of current projects in this area.

 

1) Teacher Capacity to support student mental health

We have an ongoing research project that explores teachers capacity to support youth mental health. Watch this space for upcoming publications on this!

 

2) Evaluation of suicide prevention training for pre-service teachers

This project is funded by the National Office of Suicide Prevention (NOSP) and seeks to explore the effectiveness of an international training programme in improving the understanding and capacity of pre service teachers to understand and intervene in suicidal behaviour.
